2019-20 Registration Fees

Boys Competitive (Grades 4-5) – $250 non-refundable registration fee will be collected with each registration for Competitive players. The fee must be paid before a player participates in the player evaluations.

  • This fee pays for six tourney registrations, a team shooting shirt, gym practice times, skill development clinics, player insurance, first aid supplies, game balls, and the organization's administrative costs. Uniforms will be provided by WYB and must be returned at the end of the season. In the event that your player is not placed on a Competitive team, you will be fully refunded.

Girls Competitive (Grades 4-5) – $250 non-refundable registration fee will be collected with each registration for Competitive players. The fee must be paid before a player participates in the player evaluations.

  • This fee pays for six tourney registrations, a team shooting shirt, gym practice times, skill development clinics, player insurance, first aid supplies, game balls, and the organization's administrative costs. Uniforms will be provided by WYB and must be returned at the end of the season. In the event that your player is not placed on a Competitive team, you will be fully refunded.

Girls Middle School (Grades 6-8) – $200 registration fee will be collected after players are selected for a PIL team as a result of the player evaluations on November 3, 2019. 

  • This fee pays for two pre-season tournament, PIL league registration, pre-season team camp, skill development clinics, referee fees, uniforms, a team sweatshirt, basketball shoes, gym practice times, player insurance, first aid supplies, and game balls. 

Boys Middle School (Grades 6-8) – $200 registration fee will be collected after players are selected for a PIL team as a result of the player evaluations on November 3, 2019.

  • This fee pays for two pre-season tournament, PIL league registration, pre-season team camp, skill development clinics, referee fees, uniforms, a team sweatshirt, basketball shoes, gym practice times, player insurance, first aid supplies, and game balls. 

Girls Recreational (Grade 3 Only) – $99 registration fee will be collected with each registration for Recreational players. This fee must be paid before your player will be placed on a team.

  • This fee pays for league registration, referees, the pre-season Jitters Jamboree in December, all regular season games in January-February, a post-season tournament in early March, gym practice times, skill development clinics, first aid supplies, and the organization’s administrative costs. Tournament costs are additional and are approximately $25 per player for each tournament entered. Additional team funds for tournaments and other activities, if required, will be collected and managed by an adult team manager or coach.
  • Registered players will be placed on teams as long as space is available and coaches are available to manage the team. WYB encourages parents and other willing adults to volunteer to coach a team to ensure that all interested youth have the opportunity to play basketball. In the event there is a shortage of available coaches, new players will be placed on Recreational level teams in the order of the date on which their registration and payment was received by WYB.
